She's no longer my baby...

She is turning into a little girl. It's so sad!! And so cute all at the same time. She loves playing with Madelines toys now, just like a little girly girl. Yesterday we were in her room and she was playing at Maddie's desk, she looked so cute so I had to bust out the camera. So glad I did. I LOVE this first picture. Her eyes are so dark, you can't even tell where her pupil is. I love that! My baby is no longer a baby. I am now offically in mourning.

Cuddle Bugs

Tae is by far the most cuddle-able baby I've ever had! She'll hug and hug and hug...and then hug some more. I love it! Every morning she comes in and lays on my chest for a good 5 minutes...it's a highlight to my day!! She even loves hugging sharks...

Winter!

It's finally starting to feeeeeel like Christmas. It snowed here yesterday...so so pretty! Tae loves these little boots that are still too big for her. She insists on wearing them anyway...then trips constantly over them. Too cute.

Enchanted

OK, this movie was soooooo soooooo cute! It is a must see! Even Jasper liked it. It's hilarious and so well done. I didn't even feel bad for spending the $40 to take the fam. Plus, I could never complain about looking a Patrick Dempsy for 2 hours. :)

Music

Just last week Jaren and Taelyn were quietly playing in Jay's bedroom. He has an alarm clock that they like to use to listen to the radio. They had turned it on and were playing, then somehow they accidentally changed the station. This super heavy metal song was on- quite loud too. I was in my room (right across the hallway) when I heard Taelyn crying, I walked into the hall and heard the hidious song, Taelyn was walking out of the room crying. I walked into the bedroom and found Jaren curled up in a ball on his bed with his pillow over his head sobbing. I turned off the blaring nightmarish song and asked if he was OK. He said he was. I asked if he and Taelyn had hit eachother...no. Well was it the music? "ya, I didn't like that song". This was yet another testimony to me of the power of music. It can ddrdive the spirit away in a matter of moments even if you're not listening the words. Or it can bring the spirit so quickly. I'm so thankful for these small moments that build my testimony! Never underestimate the power of music, and the strong and extremely sensitive spirits that are within or small children.

He stikes again

Yesterday, I clean the kitchen so well then head upstairs so start laundry. Tanner is downstairs with Tae. They decide to get a drink of milk. I have NO idea how he managed to get the milk off the top shelf in the fridge...then pour it into a tiny cup, and spilling the majority all over the floor. Then he must have decided to share with 5 other people, getting out the straws and dumping a handful in the cup. But that wasn't enough. They needed tortilla chips with their milk- wouldn't you? So out come the chips, all over the floor. But they don't want to eat the chips, no, they like to stomp on them. Until 5 minutes later when I come downstairs, this is what I find....(notice the milk on the right and left of the chair)

They also started having a tea party on the table...who knows what they were doing with the rug on the left...

The night before the milk and chips snack...I find Tanner in the girls room...like this. Notice the piece of the fabric edge in his hand he manages to rip off the area rug...needless to say it's now in the trash, along with my sanity.

Can't leave out the babe

So this first pic illustrates what her hair looks like when Maddie says she has "Grandma hair" I must admit, the girl has a point.


She looooves to hear the dog in our neighbors yard. As soon as she hears a bark, she runs to my window to take a peek...it's too cute.



And finally...the girl is addictied to the paci. Fine with me.

Hair

Jaren like to attempt fixing his own hair. Last Sunday he did this to his hair....

He was so proud! But I just didn't have the heart to let me keep it that way for church....maybe next time!

Squiiishy

So the other day Madeline came behind me and smacked my butt. Then said "Mom, your bum is so easy to hit...it's so big and squiiiishy!" Oh, thank you darling, to what do I owe this compliment?

The bath tub?

So Tanner and I are laying down chatting...we get on the subject of marriage (yes, I know he's only 3). He says "I'm going to marry Macy!" Me: "you are?? Where will you get married?" Tanner (very matter-of-fact): "In the bathtub." Me: "Oh! Well...where will you live?" Tan: "In the towels". Only a 3 year old... Here a few pictures to dedicate their upcoming marriage in the tub!

Just in case you're wondering, we were on a houseboat...they had swimsuites on...no frisky 3 yr. olds here... :)

"They make everything SPARKLE"

Yesterday Maddie came with me to the store...at one of the end caps Maddie sees a display for these...

And she says "Mom, you should get these! They make everything sparkle! (while doing the sunshine move with her hands...you know that one?) AND they are so strong like a towel, they won't even break when they're wet!" She claims if I bought them she'd help me clean everything...alas, I gave in.

Ham

Madsie love...the girl of girls. She knows drama at age 6, she knows tattle telling quite well, she knows dress-up, and make-up, and up-do's, she loves friends- like I loved friends. My mom used to always say "why don't you just stay home?" Well, becuase I wanted to play with friends. So now I'm the one saying, "just stay home with me!" She is my child. Although I don't think I was as girly as her. Work that camera girlfriend...

For the record

I would just like to say to all of you who say "you're so patient, you just laugh at your kids naughtiness, you could handle more!" WRONG! I am so not patient. It is something I have to work on daily, and honestly that's not going so hot. Mind you when I am on my period...all hell may break loose at any moment (pretend I didn't just write that). But I do appriciate you saying how wonderful I am. :) I am a great friend, but the Mom thing just doesn't come as easily for me. I enjoy it so much, so I guess that's what's most important hey? And that's that! xoxoxo

Halloween Partay

I"m a little slow at the whole Halloween thing. Here are just a few, I still have to find the rest! Macy and Tanner still love eachother...they are "best fwiends".

I'm back...and sick...bleh

San Diego made me so jealous of all those lucky people who live there!! I would LOVE to live by the beach...oh, I covet them. I've been sick ever since I got back. At least now I can't yell at anyone :). Anyway, the 2 weddings I did were so fun. There are a billion pictures I want to post of this couple, but I will spare you. They were so photogenic- not to mention completely beeeautiful! Anyway...I'll post more later. xoxo

Beach, here I come!

I leave today to go to San Diego! Just me, myself and I. I'm so ready for a short break. I'm photographing a wedding tomorrow, then another one on Sat. Crazy how it worked out so perfectly.
