Chasey facey and the creepy shower face

Little Chay-chee loves the shower.  How could I resist taking these?  The first one feels a little halloween-ee creepy.  Are you scared?
Chase is talking non stop about every thing.  He annunciates all of his words so carefully.  He never just babbles, when he speaks, he's exact.
Lately he likes to collapse and just say "I can't walk mom!!" so I'll pick him up and carry him.  It's sweet sometimes, others it's very annoying.  Haha.
He doesn't like being dirty.  He is a very clean eater, and likes things to be in their proper place.  I like that.
This week I think:  Being a mom is hard.  Amen.

1st day of school.

Jaren started 3rd grade.
 Tanner 2nd
Maddie, 5th (heaven help us all)

Malia, Heather, Maddie and Hannah   They love eachother.  :)
Tae started a week later.  Kindergarten.  She LOVES it.  I tried talking her into missing one day to stay home with her cousins, and she said "i will go to kindergarten every single DAY!!!  I'm never ever missing!"  Needless to say, she loves it.
She goes to the office every day at 10 and has her blood sugar checked.  She's a trooper.

As you can see, she could have cared less about leaving me.  I must admit, I shed a tear leaving the school that day.  She's one incredible little lady.

sunday morning

Sunday morning at our house.  I love that they like to make up games together.  The hang out pretty well without fighting, for about 3.7 minutes.  :)  Then we start over.

Family Pictures

We finally after a two year break had our family photos taken.  I don't know why I always put it off when I KNOW how important they are to me.  Oh wait, yes I do.  1. finding outfits.  2. making the kids wear what I want them to wear.  3. scheduling 4. finding a photographer (which I DID!!!) 5. trying not to kill anyone during the process.

These went so well.  I just tried to enjoy and not stress.  I couldn't be happier.  jen from jenheremphotography did our photos and I edited them.  She's one of my friends, so it made it even better.  :)

This year has been so eventful.  Tae was diagnosed with the incurable disease of Type 1 Diabetes.  Jasper was made a bishop, Jasper and I both have self run businesses and then, oh ya, five kids.  :)  They're all at such great ages right now.  I just love it.  I don't have to dress and diaper 3 kids all at once, or entertain 4 or 5 of them all day long.  Of course I was NEVER good at that.

I feel overwhelmingly blessed.  I keep thinking how amazing it is that I was born where I was, into the family that I was, with a gospel that changes human beings into what we were always meant to be, and that I have a body that works properly.  If you really stop to think about that, it's close to a miracle.  There are billions of people....what are the chances I was so lucky to be where I am today.  I am responsible for a lot.  A whole lot.  Where much is given, much is required.  I believe that.  Now if I could only live that on a daily basis and remember what I AM blessed with, instead of wishing I had more, or something else.

How can I NOT feel blessed looking at these?

These are the photos I reeeally reeeally wanted.  The ones I can never take of myself.  Just me and each child with me.  I want them to SEE how much I love them, and years from now for them to have photos with just them and me.  I want them to feel special.  Plus, looking at these actually makes me feel like I'm a good mom.  :)

The love of my life.  Always giving, kind, selfless and a true example of all things good and right.
Chasey Face.  Oh, I just want to squish him all day long.  So full of life, giggles and hugs.

Jay Bay.  He is a sweetheart, quiet, intelligent and a complete joy.

My Maddie-moo.  She is beyond loving, kind, helpful and thoughtful.  She always wants to do right.

My Tae Bears.  She is strong, determined and tender hearted. Did I mention strong?
I love this little man.  He was amazing.  He is kind, he is funny, and has a very tight bootie.  :)

Now to decide what photo to make big.  What's your favorite family image???

I have re-dedicated myself to blogging.  At least once a week.  It is such an incredible journal.  I'm printing one year at a time into a book.  That's motivation yes?
